A thought....

I NEVER talk politics. I never comment on anyone else's political ideas. I read this on someone else's blog and it was my thoughts put into words perfectly, so I thought I would share it with you. I hope you don't think it's too "political", and I still love you if you don't agree. :)

"You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."Adrian Rogers, 1931-2005

Curl Formers - Bailee

I ♥ these things!! I've used them on Hailey's hair, my hair and my niece Carina's hair. They are the BEST curlers ever!! I don't think I've ever posted about them before, but if you're interested they are ONLY sold at Sally's. Have I mentioned I ♥ them? I would put them in anyone's hair who would let me.

You have to buy this hook thing when you buy the curlers. You shove it through the curler, which opens up and straightens out enough to pull the hair through it and then whips back up with the hair inside. I ran out of the larger pink and orange ones on Bailee, so I had to use some of the smaller blue and green ones on the front of her head. They were not long enough for her hair, so I just kind of twisted the hair around her head.

Here is what they look when they are all in. I guess you could blow it dry if you were in a hurry, but we always just sleep with them in. They are pretty soft. The next morning, right after we pulled them out.Separate the curls a little bit and you are adorable!!

Lacy Update

Lacy hasn't had an episode since our camping trip at the BEGINNING OF AUGUST (which I just realized I never blogged about, bad blogger mommy) She still holds her breath when she cries really hard, and scares me a little bit each time, but always takes a breath before she passes out. Can you believe it's been TWO MONTHS?? Maybe she's already grown out of it, but I'm not gonna hold my breath. Teehee
Her hair is finally getting long enough for more than one piggy...well sort of. :-) Here is a picture I took of her first "real" hairdo. Hailey got jealous and I had to do hers the same way after I took this picture.Every once in a while my mom sends me pictures of my kids while I'm at work. Here are some she sent me last week. How cute is she???Seriously, the cutest baby there is!!

Cheerleader Hailey

The last weekend of September Hailey went to a cheer clinic at Westwood High School because Brea is a cheerleader there. Hailey learned jumps... Pyramids The girls even got to take turns being lifted by the "real" cheerleaders And they got to JUMP down and be caughtAnd they learned chants too. Then, on Friday night they got to cheer for the entire first quarter of the varsity football game!! Hailey is to the left of the cheerleader in the middle.
"Hands on hips, smile on lips!"
Here is the whole group of them!! Hailey is right smack dab in the middle of the front row with her arms up in the air. What a cutie!!!I COULD end this post now, and you could think Hailey had a great time and did a wonderful job. I can't. I have video. It is hilarious. Hailey DID have a great time, and would love to do it again. She told EVERYONE that she was a cheerleader. She was so proud. :D!!
Please watch the video and see why her mommy was never a cheerleader.
(she's in the front in a shirt big enough to be a dress)
And just for fun here's another one!!
